Local author Jonathon Stalls will guide our group on a walking/rolling experience from the Eugene Field Branch to Washington Park and back. He will guide our group into the many benefits of walking/rolling - with nature, with each other, and with ourselves. He will also provide a pedestrian safety tips, advocacy tools and simple practices to expand our connection to moving the way we are made to.

Meeting Location: We will meet just before 10:00 am MT near the entrance of the Eugene Fields Libary (outside) and will begin an introduction circle shortly after 10:00 am.

Pace & Terrain: Our walk will be at a conversational pace moving on sidewalks, some road, and park paths. Please get in touch with any access needs or questions.

Nearby Transit & Parking: The 24 bus runs N/S on University right near the library. Keep in mind the accessibility isn't great at these stops. There is a parking lot for the library on the east side.

Please Bring: Water, snacks, comfortable shoes/socks, and any extra layers depending on weather. Please also plan to arrive early to get any extra water and to use the restroom.

Book Reading: We will also have a casual gathering from 11:30-12:00 PM MT afterwards to hear Jonathon read from his book WALK and answer any questions. There will be copies of WALK book available for $20 (comes with a small 4x4 ink print). You can use cash, card or venmo.

Access Needs & Event Questions: Please reach out to Jonathon directly at jonathon (at) intrinsicpaths (dot) com or 720-263-0227 with any questions related to the walking/rolling route and the book reading.

Support Jonathon's Creative Work Ongoing: If you would like to support Intrinsic Paths, the Pedestrian Dignity project, future book events, and more, please consider joining as a Patron here. ; )
