Join Jonathon Stalls, author of  for an experiential book event. We will meet at 5 p.m. just outside the Irving & W Colfax entrance of Rodolfo "Corky" Gonzales Branch Library for a walk/roll* through challenging pedestrian environments. Participants will witness and feel what it is like to move alongside popular and practical arterial roads like Federal and W. Colfax while we discuss barriers, opportunities, and upcoming improvements for prioritizing pedestrian access, health, and connection.WALK - Slow Down, Wake Up & Connect at 1-3 Miles per Hour

We will also be joined by Jill Locantore of Denver Streets Partnership, Dan Shah of West Colfax BID, and Leslie Twarogowski at Federal Boulevard BID. They will share throughout our walk/roll ways in which you can get involved and some of the work being done to improve the areas we will experience.
