About the event

Join Jonathon Stalls, author of WALK: Slow Down, Wake Up, and Connect at 1-3 Miles Per Hour, for a walk'n talk book event on Saturday, January 28th with Longmont Walks and Made2Walk! The walking portion of the event is optional and will start/finish at OUR Center. It will be a quick 30-40 minute walk going at a conversational pace going to the St Vrain Creek path and back.

Come for the walk, the talk, or both! Here's our schedule for the evening:

  • 3:00 PM Gather for Walk - meet outside of OUR Center entrance
  •  - Welcome & Introduction circle
  •  - Walking loop (conversational pace 2-3 miles per hour, moving, but not rushing)
  •  - Break, gather back at OUR Center
  •  4:00 PM Book reading/Q&A with Jonathon inside OUR Center
  •  - Books, signing, connection (Books will be available for $20 and $5 of every sale will go to OUR Center!)

More About Longmont Walks, Made2Walk & OUR Center:

Longmont Walks is a chapter/partner alongside the Walk2Connect network and has been hosting local walking/rolling events in the Longmont area for years. You can learn more about the community by joining their Meetup group and following them on social media (Facebook & Instagram). Made2Walk is a Longmont based pedestrian safety initiative by Longmont local, Ana Lucaci. Ana is a longtime friend and colleague of Jonathon. Learn more Made2Walk here. We are so grateful to OUR Center for being available to host our book reading/gathering. The Outreach United Resource Center, Inc.
