The themes moving in this piece never stop thundering in my stomach and heart. Earth Wisdom. Intuitive Unrest. Cosmic Compassion. Lived Experience. Honest Mystery. They ache and cry out. They tremble in the dirt under my feet. They arrive with wind, sun, a small bird on a fence, or a surprise encounter with a stranger. In addition to the twisting tree, animals, and words, I find wise humility in our starry sky. This piece invites mystery and the cosmos into all aspects of our life.
about the artist: I have been drawing my whole life. Artmaking has always helped me process a hurting and beautiful world. I studied fine art and graphic design at Palomar College (AA in Liberal Arts with emphasis on Fine Art and Graphic Design) and Metro State University (BA in Art, Design & Entrepreneurship). Artistic expression is central to all aspects of my work.
My multi-dimensional "Walking Artist" process is primarily informed by the people I walk with, the landscapes moving around me, and an always mysterious inner journey. Unhurried movement significantly increases my capacity to honor, listen, and nurture my imagination. It also helps me witness, invite, and honor the hard, the painful, the good, the awe-inspiring, the basic, and the profound. All of this finds its way into my drawing, writing, event hosting, advocacy work, and more.

My studio is based in Poncha Springs, CO. If you are in Colorado and specifically Chaffee County, we can possibly coordinate a pick-up/drop-off of the original piece if you wish. If you are outside of Colorado and/or if you would prefer this item is shipped, please plan to budget for an extra $45-$65 (domestic). Intrinsic Paths Patrons get free shipping and depending on membership also receive discounts on originals. I am not shipping original pieces internationally at this time.
